About Us

Our name is a dedication to the courage and love she unfailingly demonstrated to her family. Simfa Rusa passed away after a valiant fight with cancer at the young age of 57. As a young man, Charles witnessed his mother’s physical suffering in addition to her struggle with healthcare providers and insurance companies for quality, personalized care. The inspiration drove him to become a clinical pharmacist for the United States Veterans’ Administration where he learned to work with multi-faceted healthcare providers ensuring a seamless approach to healthcare. His passion and experience led him to create a community pharmacy that cares, and is there for its customers and their families when they need them most.

In 2007, Charles and his wife, Suzette, opened a brand new independent specialty pharmacy in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Rose Pharmacy quickly became a trusted supplier of compounded, prescription, and over-the-counter medicines for both patients and healthcare providers. In 2015, Rose Pharmacy expanded to two new facilities in New York. Our fully trained, bilingual staff possess years of experience in the Specialty Compounding field. Using the latest technology, we service the most complex patient therapies cost-effectively. Our team maintains continuity of care between all disciplines including patient medical referral sources, home health, pharmacy, and ease-of-transition from hospital care.

Our modern clinical programs are designed to help patients maximize therapeutic outcomes. Our Home Medical Equipment division stocks an inventory of items for sale or rental which are available for immediate delivery. Rose Pharmacy is Medicare-accredited and operates under HIPAA and USP 797 Guidelines. We accept most HMO/Workers Compensation/Private Insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid. We are also bonded and insured. As our company continues to grow, Simfa Rusa’s legacy still inspires us. This passion and heritage laid the foundation for our company’s mission – putting people first in everything we do.
